Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of The Shabbat Spot based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
There is only one eternally existing God. He is the Most High. Many call him Yahweh. He is worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. His nature is unchangeable and therefore he is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Revelation
God has revealed himself to us through his only begotten son, Yeshua the messiah, who he sent to us, to save us from our sins.
Mankind
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and were given dominion over all the animals on the earth.
The Fall
When Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, death of mankind was introduced into the order of things. God did not originally appoint mankind to die but by their decision to disobey God, they chose death.
Salvation
Yeshua came to reconcile us back to himself. He came and lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions against God's Law. God raised him from the dead and now, offers eternal life to all who believe on Yeshua as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Yeshua alone.
The Assembly
The Assembly is the body of believers in Yeshua, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Yeshua the Messiah. There are many assemblies but all together make up the body of Yeshua the Messiah.
Ressurection
Yeshua the Messiah is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
