Jeremiah Chapman

It was many years ago when he was only a teenager that Jeremiah felt the call of God to pastor. As he recalls, it was calling that he was not eager to follow at the time. Now looking back, he believes that God called him early so that he could prepare for the role that would come much later in life.
He married in 1996 to Lynn Chapman and they went on to have two amazing sons. And during that time began to try to figure out what God wanted him to do. He led a prayer group at a small home missions church for a time and would prepare short, encouraging sermons to share with the men at the beginning of the prayer time. This home missions church began to grow and expand. God was at work. Not long after, Jeremiah and Lynn moved back to the city where they first met. Their first son was a year old and they were trying to be closer to family.
In 2009, with the financial crash that happened in the US, Jeremiah lost his job and there were none to be found in that area. So, they moved to NC where his brother lived. There they both found work in short order and God blessed them greatly during that time. They were able to buy a small piece of land in KY and move there after 4 years.
It was in KY that God began to greatly challenge Jeremiah with his written word. With more available time, he spent it studying deeply into the word of God. It was this bible study and prayer and fasting that led him to understand that when God says that he never changes, he really meant it.
He discovered that the statutes and judgements and ordinances that God shared with Moses are indeed valid for us even today. He discovered that the sabbaths are indeed still intended by God for us to keep forever. He discovered that the whole bible harmonizes once you understand how consistent God really is.
A short time later, he left the denominational church they had been attending and began to meet with likeminded believers in their homes. The meetings were impactful and focused on truth. Those meetings grew so much that they moved into the public building they are in now.
Today he is focused on teaching others about the love of God and how to express that in your everyday life. He is teaching the Torah and about the gospel of the Kingdom of God and how we can be saved from our sins so we can be included in the Kingdom of God.
